36th Annual Run to the Sun Car and Truck Show
The 36th Annual Run to the Sun Car and Truck Show returns to Myrtle Beach March 13-14-15,
2025, at the Old Myrtle Square Mall, 2501 North Kings Highway. Considered the largest
independent classic car show on the east coast, the three-day event features over 3,500 pre-1989
cars and trucks, 150 vendors and sponsors, and 10,000 spectators on fifty-six acres. More
information including how to register a vehicle, purchase spectator tickets and the schedule of
events can be found on the website www.runtothesuncarshow.com.
The Run to the Sun Car and Truck Show is pleased to announce celebrity appearances of Joe and
Amanda Martin from Martin Bros Customs and Iron Resurrection TV Show, now in their 7th
Season on Discovery+ and YouTube. On the show Joe Martin takes on projects mounted on two
and four wheels at his custom shop near Austin, Texas. Joe’s wife, Amanda, and his best friend,
Jayson “Shag” Arrington, scour the Texas countryside for busted bikes and rusted roadsters, then
Joe and his crew work metal magic to turn the unpolished gems into shiny, hot rod reality. In the
end Shag negotiates with a buyer to get the highest price for the Martin Bros Customs creation.
Also at the 36th Annual Run to the Sun will be a collection of movie cars and special interest
vehicles including Knight Rider KITT, the original purple Cadillac from “True Romance”, General Lee
from “Dukes of Hazzard” and more. Visit the celebrity area for a photo opportunity and say hello
to Joe and Amanda Martin!
Show owner and manager, Michael Leaventon said he and his team have been planning the event
for the past year.
“We are looking forward to welcoming classic car enthusiasts from over 28 states
